We cannot wait to see your children! Our faculty and staff has enjoyed our break, but your children become our family too. We truly miss them on these long breaks!

Students may wear a grinch shirt with jeans or uniform bottoms. Students may wear jeans that are blue in color with no holes. rips, or tears. No hoodies. No pjs. No onesies. No full body costumes. No face paint. No sweatpants.

Students may wear an elf shirt with uniform bottoms or jeans that are blue in color with no holes, rips, or tears. No hoodies. No pjs. No sweatpants. An elf dress is acceptable as long as it means the length requirement. No onesies. An elf hat is acceptable.

Students may wear a Christmas hat or Christmas headband with a green shirt. Students may wear jeans or uniform bottoms. Jeans must be blue in color and have no holes, dips, or tears.

All after school events/practices that are scheduled for HMS have been canceled today (12/13). Band concert will be Monday. Archery will still be at BMS tonight.

HMS Parents: Please be advised the school is experiencing a partial power outage and there is no Internet, heat and the phones are down. At this time, the outage is expected to last all day. Though there will not be an early dismissal, parents wanting to check out their child will need to come to HMS and show an ID. Thanks for your understanding.

Tomorrow is our last day to purchase Christmas Candy Grams. They are $1 and can be bought at lunch.
Tomorrow is also our Jeans and Holiday shirt. Remember no hoodies. Jeans must be blue in color and have no holes or rips. This is for a $5 donation. Students will need to call home for a change of clothes if they do not bring a $5 donation or follow the guidelines. Money from both of these events goes towards our PBIS funds for our students.

Reminder about Handbook PBIS Policies:
Quarterly Celebrations: Each quarter, students who have not been placed in detention–lunch, after school, or Saturday–(from receiving 3 or more D-Slips, 5 or more tardies between classes, or receiving 6 or more dress code violations), GASP, suspended, or received a Discipline Referral AND have no more than 5 unexcused absences will be recognized and rewarded as Behaving Bucs as outlined below:
Each quarter, Behaving Bucs will be allowed to attend the Behaving Buc Event.
Semester Celebrations: Students who are Behaving Bucs for an entire fall semester (1st and 2nd quarters), do not owe any school or Library fees, and no more than 10 unexcused absences will be allowed to participate in a reward activity. However, students may be assessed a fee to cover charges incurred by the school for the event.

Candy Grams will be sold Tuesday - Friday of this week only. They will be sold during lunch. Cash Only. If you have questions, email Ashley.Sanchez@Bossierschools.org. Profits from this will go to the PBIS funds used to provide fun for our students.

Friday will be Festive Friday. Students are allowed to wear jeans with a holiday shirt. Students may also wear uniform bottoms with a holiday shirt. This is for a $5 or more donation to our PBIS fund that helps provide fun for our students.




We want to give a friendly reminder about our dress code policy. This week is going to be cold as we return to school, but please note we cannot wear sweatpants. This was becoming an issue right before the break. Students will call their parents to bring a change of clothes if students wear sweatpants. Bossier Parish does not allow sweatpants.
Hoodies are also not allowed. The only sweatshirt students may wear is the one purchased from our school store.
Don't forget we cannot have stanley cups. Cups must be clear.
