University of R. V. Kerr

We are launching a new initiative here at the University of R. V. Kerr to motivate and introduce our students to the possibility and opportunity of higher education/college.  It is our belief that R. V. Kerr students can achieve whatever goal they set and/or can attend college.  We want to instill this belief in our students.

We would like to encourage you to help us with this initiative.  If you would like to donate emblems from the college of your choice to our school, we will display them for our students to see even more options for them to have a bright and exciting future by completing their education to the fullest.

Biedenharn Grant

Congratulations to Ms. Bruton and Mrs. Pope on being chosen as recipients of a 2017-2018 Sydney Biedenharn Educators’ Endowment Grant.  With the grant funds, a classroom set of nonfiction books will be purchased for each second grade classroom as well as Flocabulary.  These new tools are sure to expose students to information that will be valuable and useful for many years to come.  All grade levels across the campus will also benefit as these books will be readily available to other students.  Ms. Bruton and Mrs. Pope are truly honored to have been chosen and are eager to put these resources into the hands of the students at R.V. Kerr.
